Haute Himanya | The Last Oasis '26
The Last Oasis '26 does not romanticise the desert as merely an empty landscape. It imagines it as a crossroads where cultures, textiles, travellers and histories collide.
This look represents the woman who emerges from that crossroads: confident, mobile and unwilling to choose between heritage and modernity.
She wears the past in a completely new silhouette.
Qafila reimagines the spirit of the desert caravan through a distinctly contemporary Haute Himanya lens, bringing together heritage-inspired textiles, sculptural tailoring and modern nomadic dressing.
The statement cropped hooded jacket is crafted in an exuberant ornamental textile, saturated with deep burgundy, crimson, ochre, mustard, navy and antique-gold motifs. Its dramatic hood and voluminous sleeves create a sculptural silhouette, while the cropped construction gives the traditional textile an unmistakably modern attitude.
The jacket is sharply contrasted against high-waisted black pleated shorts, introducing clean tailoring and controlled minimalism beneath the maximalist surface of the jacket.
Completing the look are ornamented knee-high boots, carrying the same richly patterned textile language down the silhouette. The boots transform what might otherwise be a traditional textile ensemble into something distinctly editorial, youthful and fashion-forward.
